Mrs. Alicia Serrano
|
Hello and welcome to Mrs. Serrano's Art Studio page! A little about me...I am originally from the south side of Chicago and have been living here all my life. I love the diversity of our city and its world-famous cultural institutions. I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art Education in 2006 from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I've been teaching art at Sinclair since February 2006 and have loved being a part of this program. I'm excited to debut our studio drawing and sculpture courses and hope to establish a love for the arts at our school. "I can't draw!" is not an excuse. Everyone has an inner artist. Art has the ability to unlock your innermost thoughts and emotions. My job is help you channel your ideas into beautiful and dangerous expressions. Interested in free art classes or visiting some of the city's art museums? To learn more about these, please visit my links on the upper right part of the page.
