Welcome to Sinclair Campus! Our Sinclair Campus has 7 classrooms, cafeteria, a beautiful gymnasium with a small weight room area, large common areas, and a computer lab. Students enjoy participating in school clubs and activities in our "Clubhouse".  Our 20+ year relationship with Literature for All of Us brings weekly Book Groups to our students.  During the 2017-2018 school year, we established a partnership with the Chicago Area Alternative Education League (CAAEL) and brought a robust athletic program to PECHS.  To support our pregnant and parenting teens, we have also developed partnerships with local daycare centers that are just blocks away.

Rules & Expectations

Our school uniform consists of the purple polo shirt with school logo and any type of pants.  Students are allowed to wear blue jeans to school.

Graduation Requirements

PECHS is a Chicago Public School and students must complete the minimum required 24 credits to graduate. These requirements include:

  • 4 years of English
    • 1.00 credit in English I
    • 1.00 credit in English II
    • 1.00 credit in English III or African American Literature
    • 1.00 credit in English IV or Latin American Literature
  • 3 years of Social Studies
    • 1.00 credit in World Studies
    • 1.00 credit in United States History
    • .50 credits in Civics
    • .50 credits in other Social Studies 
  • 3 years of Science
    • 1.00 credit in Physics
    • 1.00 credit in Biology
    • 1.00 credit in Chemistry
  • 3 years of Mathematics
    • 1.00 credit in Algebra
    • 1.00 credit in Geometry
    • 1.00 credit in Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry
  • 2 years of Foreign Language
  • 2 years of Fine Arts (Art and Music);
  • 2 years of Physical Education, Health, and/or R.O.T.C.
  • Remaining credits may be Elective and Career courses.

Service Learning

All CPS students are required to participate in two service-learning projects prior to graduation.

  • One project must be "Civics Service Learning Project" completed during a student's Civics Course.
  • The other project can be completed in any other course.
