School Fees

School fees for the 2021-2022 school year are listed below.  The school accepts cash and money orders.  No personal checks are accepted.  Parents can also make credit card payments through our website: https://magic.collectorsolutions.com/magic-ui/Login/cps-67021-peace--education-coal

Fees cover costs not covered by the Board of Education.  Please pay these fees at the time of enrollment using cash, money order, or credit card payment.   The money order should be made out to Peace and Education Coalition High School.  (The students' names should be placed at the bottom left-hand corner of all money orders).

Student Fee ($100.00):  Two uniform shirts, student identification card, attendance initiatives/recognition, culture/climate activities and events, and annual field trip fee.

Athletic Fee ($25.00 per sport): Covers the cost of equipment and beverages for home and away games.  The student fee must be paid in full in order for the student to participate in Athletics. The Athletic Fee must be paid in full by the 2nd Friday of each athletic season.  

Ventra Card Fee ($5.00): Ventra passes are available at the beginning of the school year.  The Ventra card allows you to ride CTA trains and buses at a reduced student rate.  If you lose the pass, you may purchase a replacement in the main office.

AP Examination Fee (Expected $95 per exam):  All students enrolled in an AP course are required to take the exam and pay the requisite fees.  Fee will be assessed regardless if a student takes the AP Exam, as only students who take the exam should be enrolled in AP courses.  Students will be assessed for each AP course they are enrolled in.

Uniform Shirt Fee ($10.00):  Additional uniform polos are $10.00 each, once the full student fee has been paid. Shirts can be purchased in the main office.

Uniform Fleece Jacket ($30.00):  Fleece jackets can be worn in colder months as part of the school uniform. Jackets can be purchased in the main office.

Six Flags! GradNite ($40.00):  Each spring, seniors can attend this event.  This fee covers the cost of the entrance ticket to the amusement park.  The school covers the cost of the bus for the event.

Yearbook Fee ($25.00):  All students may purchase a yearbook each year.  

2020 Prom Tickets ($45.00 for single ticket): $45.00 for single ticket; $80.00 per couple.

Graduation Fee ($85.00):  Cap/Gown, diplomas, and other expenses related to the graduation ceremony.  This fee also covers senior photos and senior luncheon.

*Fee waivers do not apply to uniform clothing, AP Exams, Six Flags GradNite, Yearbook Fee, or Prom Tickets.
